Dr. Katherine Teisinger is a distinguished Doctor of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (DAOM) and a licensed Acupuncture Physician (AP). With over two decades of experience in the field, she has dedicated her career to the holistic health and well-being of her patients. Dr. Teisinger’s journey into the world of acupuncture and Oriental medicine began with a deep passion for alternative healing methods and a commitment to helping others achieve optimal health.

Dr. Teisinger completed her master’s degree at the Florida College of Integrated Medicine in Orlando, followed by a Doctorate from the Atlantic Institute of Oriental Medicine in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Her educational journey also included an internship in China, where she gained invaluable insights and hands-on experience in traditional Chinese medicine practices. This diverse and comprehensive education has equipped her with a profound understanding of both Eastern and Western medical philosophies, allowing her to integrate these approaches seamlessly in her practice.

Throughout her career, Dr. Teisinger has made significant contributions to the field of acupuncture and Oriental medicine. She served as Chairman and a member of the Board of Acupuncture for the State of Florida for twelve years, a role in which she advocated for the advancement and regulation of the profession. Her dedication to her field is further exemplified by her extensive clinical experience, where she has successfully treated a wide range of conditions using acupuncture, Chinese herbs, dietary therapy, gua sha, and cupping.

Dr. Teisinger's expertise and innovative spirit led her to develop the Ply-U-Flex Massage Stick, a groundbreaking tool designed to alleviate muscle pain and enhance muscle health. Inspired by her personal journey of overcoming a painful injury, she combined her knowledge of traditional Chinese massage techniques with modern ergonomic design to create a product that offers effective and accessible pain relief.
